Paul William Hill - Business Development, ABI Automation
Paul joined ABI Ltd. in 2008 with a key focus on developing new business opportunities for the supply of bakery equipment and increasing the emphasis on new, innovative products and services. His successes resulted in the launch of ABI Automation in 2009.
Drawing on over 20 years of experience in the development of automation and bakery equipment, Paul has directly negotiated and completed hundreds of complex electromechanical projects and installations. Paul’s passion is in helping companies to recognize and resolve challenges relating to quality and production in the bakery environment. Building on his extensive business, manufacturing and engineering background and a degree in mechanical engineering technology, Paul continues to update his studies in both engineering and business in his free time.
Paul became immersed in the industry over the last 20 years in his former position as VP of a family-owned automation company. He owes much of his earlier exposure to automation to his parents, who immigrated to Canada from Holland. It was this well-balanced family business environment that enabled Paul to develop his skills early in life, working his way through manufacturing and engineering to sales, leading to explosive growth in the company’s fortunes during his years of contribution.
